At last, we reach the finale of the epic "Tracks in the Snow" trilogy, which in this installment finds Flapjack and I debating the grammatical nuances of the irregular verb "swim." Thanks again to my wife Kate, who transcribed these conversations. As she was writing them down that evening, she asked Flapjack and me if we had reached a consensus in our swim vs. swum debate. "Swum," Flapjack glumly conceded. "It's swum."
