In honor of the Fourth of July, we bring you this holiday-appropriate conversation from Flapjack's toddlerhood.

Soon after this exchange occurred, I relayed it to a historian friend of mine, who cautioned: "Introducing the founding fathers and freedom to [Flapjack] sounds a little bit like the British Empire setting up all those colonial schools in India and teaching students about John Locke and the Glorious Revolution. You can't put that genie back in the bottle. You eventually get Gandhi." (I'll keep you posted.)
